How to Connect Ninja Notes MCP to ChatGPT
1. Open the Plugins area in ChatGPT 0:15
- In ChatGPT, go to the Plugins section.
- Click the plus (+) icon to the right of Search Plugins.
- Choose the option to add a custom tool.
2. Create the custom tool connection 0:24
- Name the tool Ninja Notes.
- Add a description such as Ninja Notes MCP Connection.
- Set the connection’s authentication method to OAuth.
3. Adjust the Advanced OAuth settings 0:37
- Open Advanced OAuth Settings.
- Change the registration method to User Defined OAuth Client.
- Enter the OAuth Client ID: mcp-chat-gpt.
- Change the token endpoint to None.
4. Confirm and create the MCP connection 1:12
- Review the settings.
- Click the confirmation option to indicate you understand and want to continue.
- This will create the MCP connection.
5. Sign in to Ninja Notes 1:31
- After the connection is created, sign in to your Ninja Notes account.
- In the example, the sign-in is completed using a Google account.

- Wait for the success message confirming the connection.
- Once connected, ChatGPT is linked to your Ninja Notes MCP.
